Chances that leavitt replaces Hayes (retirement) at seasons end and is given the HCIW tag (likely kept under wraps)? I know he had his past at USF but I don't think this is completely out of the realm of possibility. If Currie wants to potentially have a future at a major university outside of KSU, he HAS to get a major hire right. He is going to need to stretch a little. Taking a successful head coach 6+ years removed from a scandal wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. From and AD perspective, it's safer than Venables who has never been a head coach before.
