Ok, so I'm exhausted by the BV threads and talk, I'm in weight and see mode, love to see it happen, seems like it would take a lot of negotiating to make it a reality. So just for fun and something else to talk about I'm posing a new hypothetical:
Won't happen but what would your thoughts be if we could somehow get the "other" high profile coordinator in the Championship game to agree to come to Manhattan to be our HC in 2017 -- Lane Kiffin?
-Should appease the recruiting crowd because he has proven he can recruit at every stop he has been at.
-Seems to have matured as a coach
-Two years tutelage under the 2nd best HC in the history of college football (behind LHCBS) has to be good for him.
-He would certainly improve our media coverage as he is a media darling, and would likely raise our profile nationally.
-He has shown he doesn't shy away from tough jobs; following a Legend at Tennesse in Phillip Fulmer (even if he was forced out still won a Nat. title) followed a Legend at USC in Pete Carroll and took a job working alongside a Legend in Nick Saban, (not to mention working for a Legend owner in Al Davis)
I know full well it won't happen but just curious everyone's opinion on Lane Kiffin so this is purely posed as a conversation starter but if in an alternate universe he would take the job what people's opinion of that hire would be.
