Just got thru watching the O.J. Simpson parole hearing; mercifully it wasn't quite the circus that his earlier court appearances have been. One of the commentators brought up the fact that O.J. had been receiving his $25,000 per month check for his NFL pension. Of course he didn't have access to it and was being held in a bank. His pro career spanned 11 seasons 69-79; don't know how many games. Terrance Newman has now completed 14 pro season and is still going strong. Based on his longer career, not to mention two decades earlier plus many more games, I am curious how much larger Newman's pension will be when he retires. Anybody have any ideas on this?
