We return everyone next year that was in our rotation and add Shaun Williams and hopefully Trice. I think the tourney run will give us a bit more swagger and confidence that will lead to an even higher standing in the big 12.

This year we were clearly behind KU, TTech and WVU. What do they lose/return.

KU loses Graham and Mykhailiuk (possibly Azubuike). They add Lawson brothers transfers from Memphis, Moore PG transfer from Cal and two 5 star backcourt recruits. Without a doubt they will be super talented once again. Their success will be dependent how the new guys and blend altogether but I have no doubt Self will have them on top again next year.

WVU loses Carter and Miles who were the heart and soul of their team and keys their pressure defense. They bring two 4 star recruits.I think WVU will be good with a lot of good returning players but will take a step back and we should be better than them.

Texas Tech loses Evans, Zach Smith, Gray, Stevenson, and Hamilton. They return Zhaire Smith, Culver, Francis, Odiase and Moretti and bring in a JC 4 star and a hs 4 star. Tech will be competitive but clearly take a step back into the pack.

The teams that were below us can any jump up to challenge next year?
TCU loses Brodziansky and WIlliams. Sign 1 4star.
Losing their best big and best rebounder is big but they return a lot a good players including getting a healthy Fisher back to pair with Robinson. I think TCU may make to top 4 next year and will challenge the Cats but I think we finish higher again next year.

UT loses Bamba and Eric Davis and adds another great recruiting class. They will have talent to compete at a very high level butI predict that they will as always will under achieve.

Baylor loses Lacomte, Lual-Acuil, Maston and Omot. I think they drop to near the bottom of the conference next year.

OU loses Young and Lattin. I think they will play more like a team and end up about the same of they did this year in the bottom half of the league.

Iowa State loses Jaskson, Beverly and Babb (via transfer). They return Wiggington, Lard and Young to form a good nucleus for an improved team but not improve enough to contend for the upper division.

Okie Lite loses Smith, Carrol and Soloman who IMHO are their 3 best players. I cannot see them improving their position next year with this much graduating.

So if current prediction for the top of the conference next year would be.

1, KU
2. K-State
3. WVU
4. TCU
5. Texas or Texas Tech

with Texas being the biggest wildcard that could move into the top 3.
