All players that have used four years of eligibility but gained a 5th year due to covid rules will now be automatically entered into NFL draft. They will have to opt out of the draft if they wish to return to school. They have to make that declaration by February.
My question is, does this mean that a player that plans on coming back to play his 5th year but doesn't opt out of the draft by February would lose his 5th year of eligibility?
