yes, some teams will find some gems maybe even 3 or 4 in one class but IMO that is the exception rather than the rule.
If you listen to Soren Petro go over draft classes and who is left after so many years it is a very small number especially where the Chiefs have been concerned,
the Chiefs still have 7 picks left in this draft, and who knows how something may get parlayed in to next years draft to give them more picks then.
Personally, I don't think they gave up all that much to get a guy they truly wanted. And if he is a bust, so be it. Free agency has changed so much of the build your team, game.
