It didn't hurt that he played three years as a nickel and tested very well on his pro day. Proved to be big, fast, and a nice vertical. Sure, he didn't have 3 years as a starting corner but the league sees players like Chris Harris out of KU can become future NFL studs. I believe Harris was barely ever a full-time starter at corner for Kansas and I think he bounced around between safety, nickel, and corner
