So, my understanding of NIL is that student athletes can basically market themselves and sign endorsement deals such as promoting a local pizza shop or apparel store, etc. They can also earn money based on their promotion of products through their social media channels (so much for telling kids to stay off social media, right?) as well as if they sign items which are later sold.

I believe there are stipulations that they cannot be paid for performance nor can they be paid to attend school.

First question…am I missing anything on NIL? (I’ve seen people talking about giving NIL money and I’m not following how that is done…)

Second question…to date, have we had any KSU student-athletes who’ve signed endorsement deals or made money from NIL?
