Saw Chris Mullin yesterday at the tourney. I'm sure it was mainly to watch the #1 juco guy Bashir Ahmed from Hutch juco who is already committed. I'm betting Mullins has that team back in the mix as a damn good team pretty soon. Linked the juco rankings from 24/7. Arkansas has 3 of the top 6 guys committed. Iowa St 2 of the top 8. WSU got #9 a PF from Pearl River and maybe Baker's replacement with #22 a combo guard. #21 Keanu Pinder is also from HCC, and they said yesterday he has opened his recruitment back up after decommitting from New Mexico. I doubt he is a guy we would be after as a 6'8" SF?
I really wish we would have brought Ro Blackman in some capacity at some point. Or could we ever get Mitch Richmond to come in, even if only as an assistant? It may not work? But getting NBA legends seems to attract talent for sure. Manning sure didn't hurt KU. We don't have a lot of them to choose from. I love Henson, just not sure he would have the same draw as others. I do think he could be a very good coach though.
