Can we all agree this entire process needs to be changed? Seriously, the mere fact the jury of your peers is also the prosecution, deems what is and isn't admissable, can use subjective metrics to impeach and remove is ridiculous. This process puts the President/defendant at a serious disadvantage. He has no ability to appeal, 2/3 of the jury instead of 100% of the jury can find you guilty. Depending who the majority is can weaken or bolster your defense. You don't have the advantage of discovery because Schiff proved you don't have to release all evidence to the defense. The whole thing seems broken. Right now the process is a tribunal where both sides have a gentlemens agreement to be fair and impartial. In 2020 that's a joke of an expectation in this heavily divided and politicized climate.
