But, of course this is absoltuely of no surprise. Afterall, we talking about a University that has never won a National Championship in any major sport, up until Bill Snyder was hired allowed its football program to be the worst in the history of college football and came within an eyelash of being relegated to the Missouri Valley.
We took a historically successful basketball program and killed it with a series of three terrible hires over the span of close to two decades, had a brief interlude of success that we were too incompetent to maintain and then killed it again with Bruce Weber for the better half of another decade.
So here we are now, with the most important football hire in our history looming and the GOR and next round of realignment on the horizon and we decide to hire...
the former AD from North Dakota State.
So inept. So incredibly incapable of ever stepping to the plate and making the bold, strategic play. But, this has been K-State leadership for as long as we've known it.
The reality is you gotta just accept it for what it is and move on. We're small time and will always be small time.
