It's a good thing I love K-State football, because the non-con competition is hard to get excited about.
South Dakota is simply weak.
The Coyotes won 2 games last season (William Penn & Northern Arizona).
UTSA
I'm not sure if UTSA loss a number of starters from last season or not, but they are ranked by some in the 120 range ?? The Road Runners were competitive in a number of games (not so much in others).
UTSA beat down Houston by 20 points to begin the season.
Loss by 3 points against Arizona
Beat Southern Miss and N. Texas
I believe their QB and most productive RB is back.
UTSA may be a little better than some portray them to be.
LA Tech
Had a good team last year, finished 9 & 5 with a bowl win over Illinois (35 to 18).
I believe Tech loss their QB to graduation, but bring back their top RB & WR.
Like UTSA, La Tech might be better than most expect.
But again, it's hard to get excited about these games... except the fact that I can't wait for the season to start.
I'm guessing the Legend loves the non-con set-up... each game more difficult than the prior game. Then a bye week before traveling to Stillwater. The CATS are going to knock the POKES right in the mouth on their way to a big victory.
