A little research for everyone..... Home games in Manhattan against power conference (ACC, SEC, Big 10, Pac 12, American, Big East) since the 90-91 season which was the first year of Altman.

Altman - 4 years as head coach - 5 home games
90-91 = none
91-92 = Arkansas, Wichita
92-93 = Temple
93-04 = Texas A&M, Wichita

Asbury - 6 years HC - 8 home games
94-95 = Illinois, Washington
95-96 = Michigan State, Xavier, Wichita
96-97 (first yr of Big12) = Wichita
97-98 = none
98-99 = Wichita
99-00 = Memphis

Wooldridge - 6 years HC - 9 home games
00-01 = Illinois, Iowa
01-02 = Mississippi, Wichita
02-03 = Oregon State, Central Florida
03-04 = Wichita
04-05 = Washington State, Rutgers
05-06 = none

Huggins - 1 yr HC, 0 home games
06-07 = none (started series on road to Cal and Xavier though)

Martin - 5 yrs HC, 5 Bramlage games (2 scheduled by conference, 1 scheduled by ESPN), 1 game in KC, 1 game in Wichita
07-08 = California, Oregon (Big12/Pac12Challenge)
08-09 = none
09-10 = Xavier, Washington State (Big12/Pac12Challenge)
10-11 = Virginia Tech(ESPN 24hrs of MBB)
11-12 = West Virginia (Wichita), Alabama (KC)

Weber - 7 yrs HC so far, 3 Bramlage games (SEC/Big12Challenge), 4 KC games, 1 Wichita game
12-13 = Florida (KC)
13-14 = Mississippi (SEC/Big12Challenge)
14-15 = Texas A&M (KC)
15-16 = Mississippi (SEC/Big12Challenge)
16-17 = Washington State (KC)
17-18 = Tulsa (Wichita), Georgia (SEC/Big12Challenge)
18-19 = Vanderbilt (KC)

There have been TWO games in Bramlage against a power conference team since 2005 that were actually arranged and scheduled by K-State coaches and both of those games were set up by Huggins but played after Martin was head coach (Cal, Xavier)

Asbury and Wooldridge actually have done the best since 1990 at scheduling games in Bramlage. Wooly especially. Asbury's dropped off after the Big 12 started and we went from 16 to18 conference game.

It is pretty obvious to start to see when neutral sight games started to become all of the rage.

We also had games against UNLV in KC and Gonzaga in Wichita that I did not include in this. Even though they were good teams with high profiles they were not a member of one of the power conferences I stated were my target conferences in the beginning.

in the 19-20 season we will play Marquette in Bramlage. It will be the first home power conference game scheduled by our coaches since Xavier in 2010 that has originally been set up by Huggins back in 2006.
