For the record, I think the Unity walk is a fine idea. I do think there is progress still to be made in the area of race relations, both at K-State and in our country. However, it has been exaggerated on our campus. More proof here. A camo-colored, 6" long, piece of para cord tied to a tree not in easy view does not constitute a racially motivated noose. This looks like hammock leftovers to me. Lots of people jumped to conclusions here. I'm glad this has finally come to light!
