I've looked through City Commission meeting minutes and don't see a lot of discussion on this, maybe I missed it.
No K-State, no NBAF. No K-State, no Kansas Ag. K-State Foundation Center Phase II under construction, not to mention the millions that K-State sports pumps into the Manhattan economy let alone the millions that K-State's existence pumps into the Manhattan economy. In the future they'll be more Equine Center buildings etc. etc.
So, who is the hold up here? MHK or K-State? This project will dramatically improved that end of campus.
I always hear and read a lot of platitudes about the partnership between KSU and MHK, but it just doesn't seem to have that feel at times when the rubber meets the road. It seems like a lot of money coming from the K-State side, and a trickle from the MHK side.
