Seems like some schools just can't escape controversy - in an article today Sports Illustrated revealed that former coach Dean Smith instructed in his will that each former BB player at UNC be given $200 to "go out and enjoy dinner". Smith, who passed away at age 83, requested the amount in his trust and it is believed 184 players would benefit from his largesse.
As you can imagine, the KU board is getting a big bang out of this story....shades of Roy Williams indeed!
