That sucks for a solid men's program to be relegated to that purgatory. Losing WSU isn't a death blow to the Valley but is a massive hit. That conf just got worst. Northern Iowa has to be reeling that they don't have a safe spot to go to outside of the Valley! This is a lesson of how important it is to have good appealing programs that have good brands. UNI hasn't recently. But they usually do well. WSU timed their success perfectly, got lucky and got out of dodge.
