The most important thing that K-State, and the B12, have to fight for (beyond survival) is access to the Playoff. And a strong argument for extending that access is to just crash the ****ing party.
It all starts with QB. You have to have an elite QB--especially at K-State--to be a playoff team. I think we have that QB, for a 2024/2025 run.
And we are adding a lot of other pieces, as well. And recruiting momentum is arguably at the highest level it has been in 20 years, maybe more.
So the time to act is now. If there was ever a time to ask our top donors to go all-in to make sure NIL opps run deep and wide for not only this class, but the next couple of three, as well, this is it. I'm not saying it's do or die, but it is, at the very least, a golden opportunity, and one we may not get again, if we don't leverage it, now. Knowing we have a guy like Avery to build around changes the risk profile of the investment--and the likely return. The time, is now.
It's easy to spend other people's money, and that's pretty much what I am advocating here, I know. But if there was ever a time to a time for our top boosters to "push in," this is it. I'm confident that they have had a lot to do with our current "momentum," I hope they see the same opportunity I do.
