Drew Mount of our very own BatCats becomes the first player in BigXII history to earn back-to-back-to-back Newcomer of the week awards. Consecutive grand slams from Mount Crushmore helped the BatCats earn the weekend series win over Mercer. Sounds like a pud non-con opponent but Mercer has a solid baseball program and is an NCAA tournament caliber team.
