Does anyone know what happened with his recruiting? If I remember correctly, he was all but committed here being best friends with Byron PRingle, then we turned him away and he committed to Texas Tech. The word was he wouldn't make grades. Well he got to Tech at semester and was just named first string on their depth chart. Bruce Feldman tweeted, "Heard lots of good things abt #TTU JC transfer CB Octavious Morgan. Strong, fast coverman w the physical tools to play in any conference."
Seems strange we would turn away a talent like that especially at a position we are always needing talent and depth.
