I feel like it's not that hard. Baylor, Oregon, and OSU aren't blue bloods but they get freak athletes. Why? Because they are fun and 18 year olds want to play for them. Don't give me the billionaire backing either. Stillwater and Waco aren't anymore or less exciting than Manhattan, but kids are flocking in droves. All three schools have young, fun coaches, they run an offense that kids want to play in (and doesn't require them to get beat up), and they have great uniform combinations that like it or not kids want. Long post short, all programs are youthful and that attracts freakishly athletic youth. Our current system gets slow, smaller, weaker (or some would call "old youth") athletes. All three schools also have great coaches, and our donor support and facilities can attract that kind of coach. So let's get that kind of coach and then have him implement those kind of changes and bam, we could be looking a whole new KSU. And to stop the Kliff Kingsbury rebuttal, I think we can all agree he isn't that great of a coach. New is good people, don't fear change! Respect the past, but embrace the future. Let the bashing.......begin!
