What the hell is the point of having "points of emphasis" when everything reverts back to the old way of officiating? To have players and fans suffer thru hundreds of free-throws the first few games? Besides that, the officiating is still atrocious.
The power five conferences need to have officiating ran through one office. Officials need to be held responsible for their job and if they are under performing, they need to be let go.
