NCAA announced the Ohio State fencing team, and both men and women's golf committed violations today. I can't help but wonder if Ohio State is throwing those programs under the bus to avoid a larger issue with a football or basketball program. My daughter fenced through college and it's pretty unusual to find violations with fencing teams and it is such a minor sport relative to others the NCAA should be looking at.
