OL recruits from 2013-2017 is another example of rankings and P5 offers matter....even at K-State. Hard to argue with the facts that show the overwhelming amount of success we have with the few actual P5 quality OL recruits we have landed.
- 100% (3/3) of OL recruits who rank as 5.7 / High 3* become starters.
- 66% (2/3) of OL recruits with 5+ offers out of HS have become All Big 12 players (would have been 3 for 4 if Zach Shackelford didn't flip to Texas)
- 60% (3/5) of ALL OL recruits with 5+ P5 offers have become starters (TBD on Allen)
- 20% (1/5) JUCO OL recruits ended up All Big 12 (Terrale Johnson All Big 12 Honorable Mention)
- 13% (2/14) of unranked/2*/and 3* recruits without 5+ P5 offers have made All Big 12

Dalton Risner - 3* #6 Center out of HS - P5 offers: 5+ offers
- Might end up as one of best linemen in K-State history and future NFL player
Scott Frantz - 3* #48 OT out of HS - P5 offers: 5+ with interested growing before committing summer before senior year. Started early...great multi year starter and future NFL player
