Imagine, just qualifying to represent your country in a world-wide athletic competition that is the crown jewel of your sport. And the predominant emotion being that of anger that the organizers would have the audacity to play your national anthem during the medal ceremony. Given how out-spoken this young woman is as an activist, 100% the US Olympic committee chose to play the anthem during her event's medal ceremony purposefully. But still.........I can't imagine hating my country this much while also seeking to represent it on the world stage.
