With the current roster and with what players are coming in I can't see Weber surviving past next year. The guard play is severely lacking on the offensive end and we won't have any offensive production from the post. At least not consistent unless Wade shows up all Beasley like. I guess if Foster developed a left handed dribble then maybe we could have at least one bright spot, but even then he wouldn't have any legit offensive help around him.
Plus, other than osu nobody is really losing much of anything of value. Maybe Baylor, but they recruit.
The scariest part of next year is if Foster isn't back. We would then be going into next season needing to win 20 or more games with not one single player that has proven any ability to consistently score. We won't have any leadership either.
If Weber can put together a tourney team next year then any and every doubt about him would have to be silenced. Right now the deck looks all but stacked against him. If Foster leaves, we have to make up a difference of 30 points a game (with Gip and Nino graduating) with a group of guys that struggle to even reach 50.
As a K-Stater it doesn't look good but hopefully we can shock the world! Either way we'll know in "one more year".
