A lot has been said about K-State having the best defense that Okie State will have faced this year.
Statistically you sure can't argue against that. That said, K-State has not faced the toughest schedule.
Though, La Tech has a very good offense ... had the "knee been called down" versus the penalty to stop the clock, K-State would have given up 20 points in regulation.

I also believe that K-State will have the best offense that Okie State will have faced this year.
On the flip / flop, Okie State will have the best defense that K-State has faced this year, but I'm not so sure about the best offense (La Tech may be better or as good).
La Tech -- #23 scoring offense (#17 total offense).
Okie STate -- #25 scoring offense (#27 total offense).

Joe Hubener will be starting his third game with a bye week to improve.
Joe has thrown some not so good passes, but has also thrown some sweet balls as well.
Perhaps the most impressive stat for Joe is his average per completion = 16.25 ypc
Joe's ability to throw accurately down field will keep the safeties out of the box.
Joe is averaging 195 yard per game (which includes 147 against South Dakota).

Okie State's defense hasn't exactly faced a good offense this year.
Central Michigan -- #118 scoring offense (#75 total offense)
Central Arkansas -- FCS team (they're bad)
UTSA -- #117 scoring offense (#86 total offense)
Texas -- #78 scoring offense (# 111 total offense) ... Texas has played a tough schedule.

K-State -- # 47 scoring offense (#94 total offense).
Not bad for breaking in a new QB and having to wait for Silmon to emerge ahead of CJ.

Though we should be cautious about reading too much into stats early in the season. The kind of schedule that a team has played obviously makes a big difference. Or one big game can really pad your stats. For example, Okie State's benefited from the self destruction by UTSA to pad their offensive stats.

In summary, K-State is the best team that Okie State will have faced this season (including Texas). The Pokes needed some questionable penalties and a big gift from Texas to pull off the win.
Lastly, I like the fact that Okie State celebrated their win a little longer than normal.

K-State will win.
