We have this group in Topeka that have been doing fantasy everything since we called it rotisserie baseball using the traditional $230 salary cap back in 88 or 89.

The 16 team football originated in 91/92 and has been an auction since day one. 16 teams is pretty big when you factor in reserves, the new dreaded bye weeks and etc.

I have won baseball, nascar, NBA, nhra but this is the first time ever in the championship game for NFL. I started 1-3 and haven't lost since. We play head to head.

We agreed yesterday to split the pot, less $ 200 for the win to keep it interesting. Amusing to me is my team kinda of sucks, as I only have two players left from our auction, in Kelce and Cousins. I lost $ 39 David Johnson the first week, but grabbed Ingram off waivers. Other than that, I have used 6 RBs, 7 WRs, 4 QBs, 4 kickers and 4 DST.

I picked up Joe Flacco (over cousins) for the championship game and the Steelers for DST. Then Ingram and J Williams for RB, Watkins and T Williams (new from the waiver wire) at WR, Kelce at TE and Boswell kicking. That doesn't sound like a championship roster in a 16 team football auction league to me. My opponent is a fellow KSTATE calvin hall accounting classmate. He is choosing between Foles and Carr at QB and has Gurley at RB.
