We are considering a backup generator for our house, which is all electric using a heat pump. We are looking at back ups using either solar and batteries, batteries charged by the grid or propane (which would require a propane tank we don’t currently have). Since this site is a plethora of great information I was wondering if people on here have experience or information with any of the above.
