Since the Cats are off this week, I wanted to alert everyone to an event that is quickly approaching.

FattyFest will take place Saturday, October 7th in Aggieville at Auntie Mae's (K-State is @Texas).

If you are not familar with the event, it is a great time with a lot of K-Staters to raise funds for the Hale Library 1st floor expansion. We have a trivia competition, a catered lunch, a silent auction, raffle items, a watch party for the game and lot more fun for a good cause as we remember a great K-Stater, Shwan "Fatty" Alkhatib.

More information can be found at https://www.fattyfund.org/

So far, we have raised about $50,000 and we would like to continue to raise funds to support this project. If you can't make the event and would like to support our work, there is a link to give directly to the K-State Foundation (it requires you to register there) or make a quick and easy PayPal payment to our charity's account which will then be given in a single payment to the
K-State Foundation, both are tax deductible as our organization is a 501(c)(3).

If you are able to donate an auction item or have a business that would be willing to make a donation (in kind or cash), we will shout you out on our website and at the event.

At a minimum, take a moment to enjoy Fatty's masterpiece:
Birth of Kansas State Football

If you are able to attend, YOU CAN PRE-ORDER and RESERVE YOUR SPOT! This will allow us to assist the caterer and our team in planning. We should have tickets available for sale starting next week.
