OT Florida suggestions?

I'm thinking about taking a quick vacation to Florida in Mid-April. Where would be best place to go to nap on a beach for 3 days? I've been to seaside but looking at VRBO's looks like about $375 per night. Would love to get that number closer to $250. Ideas?
