The AVP (beach volleyball), in lieu of its usual Summer multi city schedule of tournaments, is doing cut down version tournaments with smaller fields on three weekends in Long Beach, CA with no fans present, the first of which is this weekend. Matches can be watched on Amazon Prime and I believe the men’s final is at 12:30 pacific today and women’s final tomorrow at same time. The finals are on NBC. Most of these guys and gals live or practice down in my neck of the woods and so have seen them out practicing in the past month (no easy feat with the beaches completely closed before that).
