ROYALS' HERRERA, VENTURA DISCIPLINED
Kelvin Herrera was suspended 5 games while Yordano Ventura was fined an undisclosed amount. Both pitchers were disciplined for intentionally throwing at the A's Brett Lawrie this weekend. Lawrie slid into Royals SS Alcides Escobar at second on Friday; Escobar has a sprained knee.
