I purchased tickets through Vivid Seats for the Cats bowl game a couple of weeks ago. Had also searched the same section, different row, through Ticketmaster the same evening.
Yesterday, I received an e-mail from Vivid asking me to click on a link, which takes me to Ticketmaster! When I log into Ticketmaster, there are seats from my original search with them (not the same seats I purchased from Vivid). Then I receive an e-mail from Ticketmaster with the exact same order number that I received from Vivid when I placed the order.
Obviously, I'm old and confused. Does Ticketmaster own Vivid Seats? Do I go through Ticketmaster to get the seats I ordered from Vivid? I called Vivid's worthless customer service department and they were no help. I'm hesitant to confirm the order from Ticketmaster and end up with additional tickets I don't want.
