This is hard for me because I don't ever ask for anything. I loathe asking for donations for our damn charity golf tournament.
I am looking for some feedback for anyone that has ever used a gofundme. Any of yall that follow me on twitter know that my 7 year old son has a 6 year old half brother that has cancer . He was diagnosed last January and they removed a tumor from his abdomen that was the size of a grapefruit. We thought he was in the clear, but the doctors found two more tumors this past week. Unfortunately, because this particular cancer is so rare in children, they have exhausted all options. The oncologist told us that it's terminal and it will be months, not years.
That brings me to the gofundme. Landon (who lives with my mom) asked grandma over the weekend if he was ever going to get to go to Disney World. So, I have decided to put together the gofundme to help my mom pay for the trip.
Does anybody have any experience with it that they can share. Do's and don'ts, tips, that kind of thing?
