My wife and I live in Houston and about 100 homes flooded in our neighborhood (luckily we were spared). We decided to go down to the flooded area today and just start helping people move out flooded furniture and rip out drywall - just picked a random house where the owners obviously needed some help and got to work. Others started showing up to help and I started talking to another volunteer - turned out he was Rob Vaughn's father (former KState baseball player and new head coach at Maryland). Rob's dad is a huge Aggie but had nothing but good things to say about KState and Coach Snyder. Small world and a bright spot in an otherwise tough day!
