My family and I are considering a trip to South Carolina in late-July or the first week of August, so I thought I’d ask for opinions on where to go, stay, fly in, etc. There would be 4 of us total and one of them is just turning 5, so it will be family-oriented. My wife wants to go to the Hilton Head area. Any thoughts on where we should fly in to or stay? I know there is an airport in Hilton Head that appears to be small, so idk what the flight options are like into that airport, but that there is a bigger airport in Savannah. Or should we look at an area other than Hilton Head in South Carolina? I know the family wants to be close to a good beach and probably would prefer an Airbnb type of situation to stay at, but I’m sure options might be limited. Suggestions? I think that people on this board typically have good recommendations on travel. Thanks in advance! @ksufreak I’d appreciate your expertise too, since you’re our resident SC guy!
