I hope that Uber doesn't leave the state because of this new bill going to Brownback's desk soon.
I live in Wichita, and Taxi's here are an absolute joke. I avoid them at all costs, because I've waited anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours for them to show up. If you try to hail a cab at the bars, just forget about it.
On the other hand, Uber is prompt, you can track their location on your phone, you get a fare estimate, and the cars are actually clean and so are the drivers..........UNLIKE THE TAXIS HERE.
Thoughts? Is Uber just posturing? I hope so. I hope they aren't run out of business by heavy handed legislation.
