Looking to build a shop out back on our property.
For starters on inputs ... would like to put in a woodburner to save on utilities in the winter. We have sh%t tons of firewood available in our are due to huge storms in year past. Will still likely put in a nat gas fired ceiling furnace unit.
Any thoughts? Details on what to consider for a wood burner?
On the gas heater I have had both Reznor and Modine. both have been adequate for 12-1300 sft shops.
Currently it will likely be restricted to 1200 sft with 10-12 foot ceiling. That will enable me to just do a slab with thickened edges and no frost footings.
Biggest current challenge is running services 200 feet
