Martinez has gotten a lot of blame, but it is Klein that is coaching him to play the way he is. I saw Martinez play a lot of games at Nebraska, and the dude did not have any trouble putting up 300 yard passing games. Sure, he made a lot of bonehead turnovers in his time there, but that is no reason to baby/shield Martinez to the extent Klein is.

Klein has been so conservative in his play calling this year, I can't tell much difference from Messingham. The only difference is he is basically running a no huddle Messingham offense. It's embarassing. Sure our wide receivers aren't very good, but a good offensive coordinator will find a way to get his receivers open regardless of the talent.
