Been coming to games at Bramlage since '88 so I can compare a few big game crowds. Somebody in the Athletic Department needs to wake up . They've closed the south drive on the west side because of contruction-and even the nights where there isn't a crowd, it's been a bear to get in and out. Saturday there was quite a traffic jam. We got there at 2:20 were right next to the baseball stadium and it took us 30 minutes to get in and get parked. Once we got up to the doors there was a huge throng of people being syphoned into the northwest entrance. They've chosen to shut down the southwest entrance to ticket holders this year and it has been ok before this but they were not prepared for that crowd. Got in with 3 minutes to spare and there were a lot of people that I'm sure did not make it for the tip. On the way out we got to see somebody in a hurry clip another car in the parking lot. I do not know the answer on exiting the place, but it was a free for all-cars squeezing in from every direction to get out and the parking lot attendants honestly just have no clue, who to stop and who to let through. You make fewer entries and exits and it has led to a mess. Dear Mr. Taylor needs to try to drive in and out to see the debacle that has been created. Yes patience is virtue at times like that, but it seems to be a situation that somebody has created without giving the ramifications much thought. Off the soapbox. I hate KU. Love my Cats. Get out and back them for the next 12 regular season games! Home or away!
