Generally speaking, wouldn’t a play caller who has a rs FR qb playing his first meaningful minutes want to give him an opportunity to complete a few short passes to get into a rhythm? Really I don’t get why our play book seems limited to 5 run plays and only pass plays that require our receivers to make three hard moves before even looking to catch the ball? Does our 1000 pg binder of plays not contain slant routes?
Also can someone tell Dana that when the run is working you can do the play action but it works better if you don’t play action with your slow unathletic son/fb who isn’t really a threat in the run game outside of the 1 yard line.
