I saw an Omaha Stormchasers game this past Friday. The wind all weekend was howling out of the south. As a result, Sunday Terrence Gore hits his first career homer. On Friday he just missed one hitting the top of the left field wall for a triple. It was a good weekend for homers. I saw Omaha hit three in one inning Friday.
"Eyechart" Jonathan Dziedzic managed to keep the ball low and only gave up one homer in his starting stint Friday. He must have been on a pitch count because he did not get out of the fourth inning. However, I believe he will be the next starting pitcher the Royals bring up.
