Before the season started everyone on this board would have agreed Iowa State had a lot better team than we did. That means as fans we should not have expected to win this game and therefore, be upset with the loss or how we played.
We should accept the fact that we will go through the motions for 10 or so minutes because we will come out of it and compete the rest of the game. We should be satisfied that our guys recognized their lackluster effort and were able to come back and make it competitive for a stretch in the 2nd half.
