Ok, I think we can all agree that this years recruiting did not go as well as we would have liked.

BUT you do realize that you are going absolute batshit crazy because of what some recruiting rankings website has deemed the value of each of these players (which can easily be way off). These rankings are based on where these players are right NOW at this moment, not where they end up 4 years from now. You can take a 2/3 star athlete and develop that player into a 4 or 5 star player. And this is where KSU/Snyder excels.

Also, we have signed 18 players this year. 1 of them did not get ranked by Rivals (Trace Kochevar), so for ranking purposes we only signed 17 that went towards the totals.

Just FYI, but there was an average of 22 (21.89691) recruits signed per class (taking out the military schools) and UAB.

Also, our average ranking in Rivals was 5.5, which is a 3 star BTW.

So if you want to extrapolate our 'average' ranking versus the rest, 22-17=5 and our average rank of 5.5 is 60 points, that is 300 more points to our total score. So 979 becomes 1279, which is good for 53, which is just ahead of Arizona.

Also, if you look at the average stars instead of points we move up from 76 to 61.

Also, here is an article on the perspective on how many athletes are actually out there to review... can a couple NOT get noticed...

Yes, we can all agree that our recruiting didn't go as well as we all wanted it to go and a lot of it was self inflicted, but the players that we are bringing in are of good quality. So go drink or take an extra long puff on your cigarette and chill.
