The Tour announced the Players Championship will be moving from May to March (for the Florida swing).
The PGA Championship which is an August event will move to the former Players time in May. Both Changes take affect for 2019.

July - Open Champ
I believe this is a process to also move up the FedEx Playoffs to August. PGA tour wants season over before football begins.
