Honestly thought this year we'd have a chance to compete for the conference title.
- Ertz is nowhere near the caliber of QB some here have made him out to be. He's an effective runner in the open field. But IMO, an average at best passer.
- I'm not as down on our RB/WR as others on here. WR group sucked tonight, but I believe they can largely turn it around. Although with Pringle, it's obviously going to be an ongoing issue.
- Was also underwhelmed with our O-line. I think they're OK, but again not as good as I had anticipated.
- D was great tonight, but that was against a team that ran the ball a lot. Based on earlier games I fear what passing teams in the Big XII will do to us. Cre Moore, Kirby, and even Tanking (was a stud tonight) concern me against superior athletes.
Really thought we would win 10 games this year. I'm thinking 7 now... End of rant.
