As been hinted earlier threads, I'm curious as to who the fanbase thinks will step forward into player leadership roles.
Sadly, on offense, I think the only players that will step forward are on the offensive line. Cody Whitehair is a natural "lead by example" kind of guy. I could see Gronk stepping into the role too but don't know if that fits. We really need a quarterback to step up into the role onto the field and leadership role but don't know if either will happen this season.
On defense, I think it has to be Dante Barnett. I'd like to see Elijah Lee and Jordan Willis follow this ascension but don't know if it will happen or not. I thought Travis Britz, Morgan Burns and Danziel McDaniel would fit into this mold but we haven't heard much about this.
I have a ZERO inside information about any of this but I would be interested as to what the forum and GPC staff think about this issue.
