Simple one, and probably as much of a "when were you born?" question as anything else. Still, for someone who crossed several of these periods, it's not easy. Madden clearly won for longevity, but Tecmo Bowl still has crazy replay-ability

Still, NCAA is my runaway favorite. The dynasty, recruiting, preseason drills, etc...that game cost me easily one college girlfriend and a full letter grade in Calculus, but it was worth it to send the 2007 KSU Wildcats--filled entirely with 4- and 5-star recruits--to a 13-0 record and a national championship.
