A debate brewing on our show this morning in Wichita. I am always genuinely curious why people want more teams, aside from "more football."
I didn't hate the BCS National Championship formatting but thought if a playoff were to happen, the BCS Rankings should have decided it, not a group of people made up of Jeff Long who got fired while he was on the CFP committee, Condoleeza Rice who is a sharp person, but not an inside football person and others that I just scratch my head at. I think adding more teams is ridiculous. The average margin of victory in semifinal games has been over 21. Only three of the twelve games have been decided by single digits.
